🇨🇦 HELP US BRING THE VETERANS APPRECIATION CROSSWALK TO LIFE 🇨🇦

The Vernon Royal Canadian Legion Branch #25 is working toward a very special goal: having the Veterans Appreciation Crosswalk installed before Remembrance Day.

The crosswalk was designed by our Branch #25 “Walking” Committee as a lasting tribute to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Now, we need our community’s help to make the design a reality.

💰 DONATIONS ARE NEEDED TO FUND THE INSTALLATION.

Donations can be made at the donation kiosk at Polson Place Mall.

If you would prefer to donate by e-transfer, please email legion25@shaw.ca first. A password will need to be arranged for the transfer.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure your donation clearly states that it is for the Veterans Appreciation Crosswalk so the funds can be properly designated.

The Legion is holding the crosswalk funds in trust so that the money can be provided to the City for the installation. Any funds remaining after installation will be designated specifically for future maintenance of the crosswalk.

Every donation, large or small, brings us one step closer to seeing this meaningful tribute become a permanent part of our community.
